With my major in Data Science at CityUHK, I was equipped with fundamental skills of data analytics and machine learning, as well as their applications to real life data.

 

In my university life, I received various support from SEN Support Services such as training workshops on workplace skills including interview skills and social skills at work. I learnt how to optimally prepare myself for job interview and job-hunting process. In addition, I gained knowledge on how to create good personal first impression in workplace through enhanced attention to appearance, interpersonal behaviours and communication.

 

Besides the skill workshops mentioned above, I joined a lot of different workshops organsied by the SEN Support Services. Some activities like Excel Expert, Adobe Premiere Pro have strengthened my knowledge and skills on relevant software. Activities like dining etiquette have sharpened my table manner at business lunch or dinner.

 

I currently work as a part time AI engineer in Hong Kong Science Park, and am a full-time student studying Master of Science in Big Data Technology at HKUST. My study at CityUHK had built a solid ground of knowledge for my further study.  I can apply the skills gained through the completion of  undergraduate projects and tasks on data science to the courses I am taking at the Master Degree programme

 

I am truly thankful for support I gained from both Data Science Department and SEN Support Services at CityUHK. Nurture me to grow without limit!.
