Career Prospects - Alumni Sharing Videos
CityUHK JUPAS Consultation Day, held on 18 May, was a resounding success. This event served as a platform for 2024 HKDSE takers who were interested in physic to gather information about the undergraduate programmes offered by the Department of Physics.
One of the highlights was the admission talk, where attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the BSc Physics programme. The talk was delivered by Professor Wing Chi YU, the BSc Physics Admissions Tutor, who provided comprehensive information about the admission process, course curriculum, and job prospects for physics graduates. Participants also demonstrated their enthusiasm by asking insightful questions at the end of the talk.
In addition to the admission talk, the event also featured student ambassadors from the Department of Physics who shared their personal experiences and gave advice to prospective students. These student ambassadors are currently pursuing their studies in physics at CityUHK, providing an extensive perspective on student life, extracurricular activities, and the overall learning experience at the university.
The JUPAS Consultation Day provided an ideal platform for prospective students to interact with professors and student ambassadors. The engaging and informative sessions left attendees with a clearer understanding of the BSc Physics programme and the diverse career opportunities it offers. Also, it served as an invaluable opportunity for HKDSE takers interested in physics to gather crucial information and make informed decisions about their future academic pursuits. The event not only showcased the Department of Physics at CityUHK but also highlighted the university's commitment to providing quality education and support to its students.
