ABSTRACT

This talk is concerned with the Boltzmann equation with specular reflection boundary condition. We will show how to construct a unique global solution for the Boltzmann equation in bounded domain and obtain its large time asymptotic behavior in the case that the initial data is close enough to a radially symmetric homogeneous datum. This is a joint work with Prof. Y. Guo.
