The core structure of the covered wooden arch bridge involves "weaving beams into an arch." Builders interlace short timbers both longitudinally and transversely—overlapping, pressing, and lapping them together—to form a stable arch-frame system. At the bottom, three timber segments form the "three-side arch", constituting the primary load-bearing system. Above this, five timber segments form the "five-side arch", which serves as the secondary load-bearing system. Each timber joint is tightly interlocked using mortise-and-tenon joinery, such as dovetail joints and through-tenons. The bridge's rafters fit tightly against one another, and its beams interlock seamlessly, resulting in very close-fitting connections.
Intangible cultural heritage inheritors CHEN Changsheng and LU Sunfu will use timber components and traditional tools on-site to construct a two-meter, true-to-scale model of the Baixiang Bridge, offering a live demonstration of this unique craft.

- For an event with limited capacity, successful registrants will be notified by email.
- The online registration system is open 24 hours a day. Due to the time required for application processing, participants must complete their registration either by the official deadline or three days prior to the event date, whichever comes first.
- For events with repeated sessions, NO registration on the same day will be accepted.
- The name provided by the participant must be consistent with the staff / student / ID card.
- Each participant can only make one appointment with one registered email in the system at a time. Any duplicate registration will be discarded.
- Participants must follow the instructions given by staff at the venue.
Data privacy and security policy apply to all personal data collected from the registration.
If the event is cancelled due to adverse weather (e.g. Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warning Signal) or "Extreme Conditions", no rescheduling or compensatory arrangements will be made.
All persons admitted to the City University of Hong Kong ("CityUHK") campus shall observe the above terms and conditions to ensure a smooth visit as they have indicated their agreement to the rules when submitting their applications.
