The Study on the Silks Found in Tubo
HUO Wei was born in Chengdu in 1957. He graduated from the Department of History, Sichuan University, majoring in archaeology. He was the former Director of the China Tibetology Research Institute, and visiting researcher at the Chinese Civilization Research Center and Frontier Archaeology Research Center. HUO is currently a Professor at Sichuan University, the Dean of the School of History and Culture of Sichuan University, and the Director of the Museum of Sichuan University Museum. His major research areas include: Han and Tang Dynasty archaeology, Tibet archaeology and Southwest archaeology, cultural relics and art history, etc.
