Special Exhibition in Hong Kong for Compiling "A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings"
Southeast Asian Mask

This exhibition brings the artistic splendour of the Song Dynasty to Hong Kong, showcasing the cultural ties between “Picturesque Zhejiang” and the city. Centred on masterpieces from A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings, the exhibition is organised into three themed sections, Splendid Mountains and Rivers, Flourishing Flora and Fauna and A Kaleidoscopic World. Each section is paired with immersive zones that echo Zhejiang–Hong Kong connections through scenery, nature and everyday life. From Lion Rock to Tiantai Mountain, from seasonal flowers and birds to scenes of human warmth, visitors are invited to experience a refined Song aesthetic that still resonates today.

An interactive installation,  "Song Dynasty Painting Multimedia Interactive" , further bridges past and present. It offers visitors an engaging, multisensory encounter with the living heritage of Zhejiang culture.
