Dennis is a UK chartered architect, urban designer and city strategist, with extensive international experience of large-scale complex projects and company operations, specializing in regenerative and sustainable placemaking. He is the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Regional Chair for Hong Kong and a member of RIBA International Advisory Group. He holds roles in HKIUD, HKGBC, HKSAR Harbourfront Commission, and HKSAR University Grants Committee RAE26. Dennis is the founder of Design_Curate_Places, a consultancy that provides strategic advice on innovative urban solutions in Southeast Asia. He held senior roles as Director of Architecture and East Asia Region Design Lead at ARUP, Principal and Practice Leader at HASSELL, Associate Partner and Southeast Asia Lead at Richard Rogers Partnership, leading complex, award-winning international projects, His diverse portfolio ranges from city-scale master plans, TODs, transportation hubs to highly specialized I&T developments, such as the Hong Kong Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park master plan and an award-winning advancing net-zero tower concept 'Taikoo Green Ribbon', exhibited in the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale. He is an external reviewer at several universities and speaks regularly in international forums. He is a juror for multiple international awards such as the RIBA Asia Pacific Awards, A&D Perspective Awards, HKIUD Awards, World Architecture News (WAN) Awards. He holds a B.A (Hons), and B.Arch. degrees from the University of Manchester and an M.Phil. degree from the University of Cambridge.
