Senior Digital Learning Designer in the Talent and Education Development Office [Ref. B/792/09]

The Digital Learning Designer will spearhead the operations of our specialised Digital Learning Adoption (DLA) team, utilising their expertise in MOOC (massive open online course) production. This role involves collaborating with course leaders to craft innovative learning experiences through the use of appropriate digital technology.  The appointee will also supervise digital learning media producers to ensure the delivery of courses at the optimal level of digital learning adoption.

Duties

  1. Implement and oversee the digital learning adoption plan to guarantee its successful execution;
  2. Work closely with subject matter experts to create innovative pedagogical strategies using suitable digital technology;
  3. Lead a team of media producers in the production of digital learning content;
  4. Track the delivery of courses incorporating digital learning content; and
  5. Ensure that courses achieve the optimal level of digital learning adoption.

Requirements

  1. A Master’s degree in Education/Creative Media, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in digital learning course design, or a Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines, with at least 10 years’ post-qualification experience;
  2. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese;
  3. Demonstrated experience in digital learning design at the tertiary education level, including the operation of MOOCs;
  4. Knowledge of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in education; and
  5. Exceptional interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a practical test.
