Canvas Transition Arrangements
        from Summer Term 2021
            to Semester A 2021/22

(note: Summer Term 2014 Canvas course sites will be deleted from Canvas on Monday, 9 August 2021.)

Zoom cloud recordings will be removed by Computing Services Centre (CSC). Please save Zoom cloud recordings from Summer Term 2021 courses (instruction under "Downloading and sharing a cloud recording").

 

Stop daily user update in Summer Term 2021 Canvas course sites

If the course activities will be extended beyond Aug 28, visit Settings of your course site, select Participation: Course and then specify a later date in End field.

Remember to click Update Course Details at the bottom.

 Aug 9
(Mon)
  • Create course sites for Semester A 2021/22
  • Add teacher users based on course instructor data in Master Class Schedule
  • Populate Canvas course sites with registered students with daily update
  • Semester A 2021/22 courses are listed on the Dashboard and under the Courses menu
Aug 27
(Fri)		 Create sections within master course sites according to section records in AIMS for the purposes of communication and grading

Summer Term 2021 Canvas course sites become read-only (can be seen under "Past Enrollments", by clicking "All Courses" under the Courses menu for all users starting that day)
