Seven outstanding athletes were admitted to CityU this year through the SALSA Scheme newly launched by the University Grants Committee which supports athletes’ dual-track career development. They are Sean GLASS, the wheelchair fencer, LO Sum Man, the Karate player, HO Kwan Kit and PAU Yik Man, the table tennis players, LEE Chun Hei Reginald, LEUNG Sze Lok, and LUI Lok Lok, the badminton players. Olympians Reginald LEE and HO Kwan Kit feel excited to be back to school and hope to excel in both academics and sports.

President Way KUO welcomed the seven student-athletes to the CityU family at a gathering alongside the Deans of Schools/Colleges on 15 September 2022. CityU strives to nurture outstanding young people who are well-versed in academics, sports, and global perspectives, said President KUO.
