CityU Servant Leadership Training Programme
Love and care spread wide

Contributors: Miss Natalie Ng [Student Life and Resources, SDS], Mr Tony Tsang [Bachelor of Social Sciences, Year 4]

Entering the fourth year of services in Servant Leadership Training Programme (SLTP), Tony TSANG, the new Servant Leader Director from “Food Friendster”, would like to share some of his thoughts with us:

“The reason why I chose to join “Food Friendster” was because I noticed that my grandparents could always have my company, but how about the elders outside? Many of them might not have friends or families. Do they need our company more? Therefore, I hope to spread some love and care to the elders and let them know that they would not be forgotten by the community. In the past three years, I saw the smiles from the elders and we enjoyed a happy time together. In the coming year, I wish I could be a good director to lead and grow with other servant leaders.”

In addition to the two existing service platforms, “Wellness Transformer” and “Food Friendster”, SLTP expanded two newly added service platforms, namely “Wise Walker” and “Imagineer” in 2021/22. “Wise Walker” provides homework guidance for children of disabled parents, while “Imagineer” uses social media and marketing campaigns to deliver image-building services for NGOs.

Join us to serve and learn!
