Belgium is a country with a rich musical heritage, which encompasses various genres, ranging from traditional folk music to contemporary electronic dance music. The diversity of Belgian music is a testament to the country's vibrant culture and history.

In the talk, Mr. Aldo Platteau, an esteemed Belgian musician, will take the audience on a journey of rediscovery, exploring the historical context, technical aspects and application of vocal practice in Belgian music. Through engaging presentations and captivating demonstrations, the audience will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unique characteristics of the musical traditions of Belgium.

Speaker: 
Aldo Platteau is a Belgian conductor, soloist and chorister, who also composes songs for theatre, television and film. Platteau's extensive knowledge and experience have led him to teach composition and ensemble at the Académie de Musique d’Auderghem, advanced writing at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, and applied and interactive music composition at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons. Currently, he holds a teaching position at the esteemed Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels.
