Aims of Minor

The Minor in Artificial Intelligence aims to provide students with comprehensive education in the understanding and application of AI technologies and methodologies.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Minor (MINILOs)

Upon successful completion of this minor, students should be able to:
 
1. Master the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies
2. Utilise AI techniques to solve complex problems
3. Develop AI-driven applications and systems
4. Keep abreast of the current trends and issues in AI

Additional Information

A student can apply for the Minor in Artificial Intelligence award provided that the student satisfies the following:
 
1. having acquired 15 credits of minor requirement courses with an average GPA of 2 or higher; and 
2. of the courses taken that constitute the 15 credits in 1 above, the following constraints should be observed:
 
Minimum CGPA requirements for declaring the Minor:
 
To be eligible, applicants must have achieved a CGPA of 3.0 or above, and should seek advance approval from their home department.
 
Pre-requisite requirements for declaring the Minor:
 
Applicants should pass one of the following courses before declaring the Minor.
