This course is designed to introduce and discuss the Chinese foreign strategies and policies since 1949 till today, and the future trend. It will focus on the overall framework as well as those major fields of the policy areas and issues. The purpose of the introduction and discussion is to give a comprehensive understanding about China's foreign strategy, policy and her relations with the outside world, thus help students understand Chinese system and policies. 

The course will review the official documents, statements, theories, thinking on China's foreign policy since the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Analysis knowledge and understanding about the development of the Chinese foreign strategy and policy will also be provided.
