The MSVC programme provided incredible resources for our start-up, FlexPerov, bridging theory and practice. Through our mentors' network, we connected with experts to explore their patented technologies. The most valuable lesson the programme taught me is: “Don't be afraid; be brave enough to try.” It grounded us to focus on real market pain points. Now, backed by the HK Tech 300 ecosystem, we've accessed a vast investor network, accelerating our prototypes as we push for the seed fund.

MSVC highly emphasizes practical application. The comprehensive courses paired us with senior industry mentors to solve real-world problems through actual projects, rather than virtual exercises. This support in both mindset and technology is crucial as I build my AI-driven custom jewellery brand. The most important lesson I learned here is about mindset: “Active innovation is anticipating the future. As long as you change for the better, any change is better than none.” This proactive spirit drives me to redefine the traditional jewellery industry.

Despite already holding a business master's from the UK and running my own cross-border trade company, I chose the MSVC programme as my 2nd Master’s degree for its exceptional entrepreneurial design. I deeply appreciate its “practice-first, learning-second” approach, which directly helps enterprises address real-world challenges. The programme's greatest strength is teaching us to systematically build a comprehensive business plan from a practical market perspective. The Academy's support in full-case planning and team building has significantly elevated my capabilities, empowering me to aggressively expand my international trade business into a digital “unmanned office”.

Going through a “continuous cycle of failure” during the MSVC programme taught me how to refine my ideas and systematically think through business models. It made me realize that without building a unique competitive advantage, a start-up can be easily crushed by larger companies within months. Today, I'm taking these lessons to Africa with Xiaomi, building the international experience I need to launch my own foreign trade enterprise in the future.

I took a lot of detours in my past entrepreneurial ventures. The greatest value of this program was that it gave me the systematic knowledge framework I was missing—from macro market dynamics to micro-operations. It taught me that successful entrepreneurship requires solid market research and resource integration, not just pure passion. This course takes real-world business experience and condenses it into the absolute essentials. Now, guided by our professional investor mentors, our team is applying for the HK Tech 300 seed fund to turn our vision for a large-scale logistics platform into a real commercial project.

Having previously founded an AI company, I needed systematic knowledge of these frontier technologies. The programme delivered exactly that. My mentors provided crucial cross-disciplinary support, blending AI with viable business models to help me pivot amidst rapid market changes. Importantly, the university empowered me to apply its patented technologies to my project, breaking through traditional bottlenecks. These robust research resources provide the strong entrepreneurial backing needed to stand out in a fiercely competitive market.
