CityUHK Hangzhou Alumni Held First Hiking Gathering

On 19 October 2025, a group of CityUHK Hangzhou alumni successfully launched a first hiking event at Jiuxi (九溪). Ten local alumni participated in a refreshing autumn hike through the iconic West Lake scenic area.

The group followed a 5-kilometer scenic route at Jiuxi, passing the misty streams of Jiuxi Yanshu (九溪煙樹), the Li'an Temple, the traditional village of Yangmeiling (楊梅嶺), and finally arriving at Manjuelong (滿覺隴)—renowned for its enchanting osmanthus fragrance. The two-hour walk offered an immersion into Hangzhou's early autumn beauty, followed by a farmhouse dinner featuring Hangzhou cuisine.

This event strengthened alumni bonds while showcasing the charm of Hangzhou in autumn. With attendees expressing enthusiasm for future gatherings, it marked a joyful start for the growing Hangzhou alumni network.
