Annual General Meeting cum Sharing Session of the CityU Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Alumni Association

The CityU Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Alumni Association held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14 September. During the meeting, Chairman Mr Kevin Leung Cheuk-kwan presented a review of the past year’s activities and financial report, and encouraged members to consider joining the executive committee to contribute to the Association’s future development.

Following the AGM, a sharing session was held where the Chairman introduced the latest updates to the Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT) Board’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements, including the mandatory changes implemented tentatively in July 2026. The session also covered an overview of the Hospital Authority’s promotion of AMT and MT requirements, highlighting the associated benefits for professional growth and recognition.
