Alumni Sports Discovery Day
We warmly invite you to the Alumni Sports Discovery Day, hosted by the CityUHK Convocation at the brand-new Hu Fa Kuang Sports Centre (Sports Centre). This event will offer alumni and their guests the opportunity to tour around the all-new Sports Centre, enjoy sports-based game booth with family and friends, and reconnect with fellow alumni in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Activities include:
Sports-based game booths (pickleball, badminton, and table tennis)
Guided tour to the Main Sports Hall, Indoor Jogging Track, Squash Court, Table Tennis Room, and Physical Fitness Room
Photo booth
Souvenir station
Event Details:
- Date: 8 August 2026 (Saturday)
- Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Guest admission and wristband collection from 9:30 AM)
- Venue: Hu Fa Kuang Sports Centre, City University of Hong Kong (Adjacent to Swimming Pool) (Map)
- Guest Ticket Fee: HKD 30 per participant
(Each alumnus/alumna may bring up to 2 guests, including children) - Facility Rental Fee: Fully subsidised by the CityUHK Convocation
- Dress Code: Appropriate sportswear and footwear are required
- Registration: Register and complete the Online Payment HERE by 28 July 2026 (Tuesday). Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful registration is required for entry.
- Event Entry:
- Pre-registration only. No walk-ins.
- Alumni who have successfully registered should present their Mobile ID (obtainable on the CityUHK Mobile App) at the event Reception area near the entrance of the Sports Centre for admission for themselves and their guests.
- Guests should be accompanied by the registering alumnus/alumna for entrance to the Sports Centre, and join the activities.
- Water Refill Stations: Available in the Sports Centre and around campus. Please bring your own water bottle or cup.
