Alumni Sharing Series: Practical Guide to Entrepreneurship

A webinar on Practical Guide to Entrepreneurship was held on 4 September for around 60 participants to learn the successful start-up stories from 2 alumni entrepreneurs: Mr Billy Lam, Chief Operation Officer & Co-Founder of Farm66 Investment Limited; and Mr Oswis Wong, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Air Button Technology Limited.

We are also grateful to have Dr Laura Lo, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Mainland Affairs Office) & Chairman of HK Tech 300 Incubation Sub-committee as one of our sharing guests; and alumnus Mr Douglas Yim as the moderator.

After the opening remark by Dr Ron Kwok, Director of Alumni Relations Office, Oswis and Billy shared the challenges they have overcome in their entrepreneurship journey and how to turn their dreams into reality, while Dr Lo encouraged participants to develop their innovative ideas into a start-up with the support and resources provided by the HK Tech 300 Programme.

Participants took the opportunity to learn from our speakers on how to start their entrepreneurship journey, and translate their research results and intellectual properties into practical applications.
