Alumni Career Workshop Series (11 September & 9 October 2026)

Ready to stop sending resumes into a black hole and finally command the offer you deserve?

This application-oriented workshop series delivers the strategic, immediate frameworks required to circumvent automated filters and access the unadvertised job market. Rather than submitting generic resumes, you will master the precise methodologies needed to capture executive recruiter attention on LinkedIn, excel in modern AI-driven interviews, and assume absolute control over your next professional chapter.

We warmly invite you to join us for an evening dedicated to actionable learning, professional insight, and meaningful alumni connection.

Workshop 1: 11 September (Friday)
Personal Branding and Networking Made Easy
-by Winnie Tam

Most jobs are never advertised - they are filled through people. This workshop shows you how to define a personal brand that makes you memorable, and how to turn LinkedIn into a genuine career asset.

You will learn:
Identify what makes you stand out and build a profile that recruiters and hiring managers actually find
Grow a professional network that opens hidden opportunities
Move online connections offline and sustain long term relationships
Real success stories sharing: how ordinary contacts turned into jobs and projects

Reminder:
Participants are required to set up their LinkedIn account before the workshop.

Workshop 2: 9 October (Friday)
Be a STAR at Your Next Interview
-by Andy Lo

An interview is won in the first two minutes and lost in the last five. This workshop will prepare you to succeed in this battle of mindset and skill.

You will learn:
Deliver a self‑introduction that leaves an impression
Avoid etiquette traps that quietly cost offers
Handle every type of question, from standard competency questions to the "out of the box" curveballs
  Prepare for AI‑conducted interviews
Ask the right closing questions to leave a strong final impression
