Accomplished PhD Alumni Present at LaMP Workshop "Ten years of LaMP - strengthening our legacy and building new collaborations"

A workshop series titled "Ten years of LaMP - strengthening our legacy and building new collaborations" was organised by the Laboratory for Public Management & Policy (LaMP), CityU Department of Public and International Affairs on 30 May 2023. The series featured panel discussions on various research topics including public servants and citizen behaviour, new technology, government capacity and performance, etc.

Professor Richard Walker, Dean of College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences cum Founder of LaMP, delivered an opening remark to celebrate the 10th anniversary of LaMP. Ten alumni from greater China, Malaysia, and Singapore, who now serve as academics at universities including Beihang University, Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen, National University of Singapore, Sun Yat-sen University, and CityU, participated in the event. The alumni speakers shared their research agendas, and exchanged ideas for collaborative research.

The event was well-received by participating guests, staff and alumni who appreciated the research perspectives shared. Dr Ron Kwok, Director of the Alumni Relations Office, also attended the event to recognise the alumni’s accomplishments.
