Professor Yi Lu's Team Publishes in Nature Communications on Income Segregation and Travel Behaviour

The research team led by Professor Yi Lu has achieved a significant milestone with the publication of their latest study in Nature Communications. Titled "Varying relationships between experienced income segregation and travel behaviour across neighbourhood social and urban contexts" (變化的鄰裡社會與城市背景下親歷收入隔離與出行行為之間的關係), the paper leverages 1.2 billion mobile records to quantify the impacts of commuting distance and destination diversity on income segregation.

This ground-breaking work examines how neighbourhood social and urban contexts influence the interplay between experienced income disparities and daily travel patterns, providing new insights for urban planning and policy-making.

Please join us in congratulating Prof. LU and Mr. Zhou on this outstanding accomplishment!
