Prof. YUEN Kwok Kit Richard appointed Vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ)

We are pleased to share that Prof. YUEN Kwok Kit Richard has been appointed by Dr. Choi Yuk-lin, JP, Secretary of Education, as the Vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) for a period from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2027.

The HKCAAVQ was established in 1990 as an independent statutory body to provide authoritative advice on academic standards of degree programmes in higher education institutions in Hong Kong. It provides quality assurance and assessment services to education and training institutions, course providers and the general public. It also provides advisory and consultancy services in education qualifications and standards to government bureaux and other organisations in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prof. YUEN on this significant appointment. His expertise will surely be an invaluable asset to the HKCAAVQ.
