Prof. CHOW Cheuk Lun Nadia Elected to Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences
Prof. CHOW Cheuk Lun Nadia has been elected as a member of the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences (YASHK) in September 2025. This prestigious appointment marks a significant milestone, as she is the first female faculty member from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) to join the academy.
YASHK brings together Hong Kong's most accomplished young scientists under the age of 45 to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration. Its mission is to advance science and technology, address critical societal challenges, and contribute to Hong Kong's future prosperity. Members are elected based on their exceptional research contributions.
Prof. Chow was recognised for her groundbreaking work in fire safety and green sustainable architecture. Her research is pivotal in developing safer, more environmentally responsible building solutions.
