2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Graduate Award in Civil Engineering for Universities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Congratulations to Ms. Wing Yiu LAI, who awarded the 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Graduate Award in Civil Engineering for Universities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (2026 粤港澳大灣區高校土木工程專業優秀本科畢業生獎) presented by Guangdong Society of Civil Engineering and Architecture (廣東省土木建築學會省). 

Her final-year project, titled “Investigating the Potential of Up-cycling Sludge Digestate from Micro-aeration Anaerobic Digestion into Eco-concrete”, was supervised by Prof. Amy TAN. The project explores an innovative approach to utilizing food waste sludge in the production of eco-concrete, opening new possibilities in sustainable construction materials.

This award recognizes outstanding academic performance, leadership, excellence in design or research projects, and significant contributions to student life.
