Building Connections with Industry Partners - HKIS BoE Visit

The Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering (ACE) was pleased to welcome representatives of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) Board of Education, led by President Sr Tony Wan, for a luncheon meeting held on 27 July 2026.

The gathering provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful exchanges on the latest developments in surveying, urban planning, and professional education. Faculty members shared updates on the Department’s academic programmes, including our Master of Urban Design and Regional Planning and BSc Architecture and Surveying. The meeting also fostered productive discussions on accreditation and future collaboration between academia and the profession. Through closer engagement with industry stakeholders, ACE remains committed to enhancing student learning, advancing professional standards, and nurturing the next generation of built environment professionals.
