Prof. Mei-yung Leung wins Best Research Paper Award at PAQS Congress 2026
Huge congratulations to Prof. Mei-yung Leung for winning the Best Research Paper Award at the PAQS Congress 2026!
Representing the HKIS QSD and the CityU ACE faculty, Prof. Leung presented her groundbreaking research on “Incorporating Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Value Management” in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
As the corresponding author of the paper titled "Evaluating Project Outcomes and Conflict Levels Across Construction Procurement Methods: Preliminary Results from an International PAQS Study," her work highlights critical findings from the broader PAQS project investigating quantity surveying practices across member countries.
This year’s Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) Congress was a historic one—hosted by the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL) under the theme "Constructing the Evolution: Unleashing the Human Intelligence," it also celebrated PAQS's landmark 30th anniversary.
We are incredibly proud of Prof. Leung’s achievement and look forward to seeing how her research continues to drive innovation and reshape the future of quantity surveying and construction procurement globally!
