24 ACE faculty members recognized top 2% most highly cited scientists for the year of 2025

We are excited to share that 24 of ACE faculty members have been recognized among the top 2% most highly cited scientists for the year of 2025, according to the latest rankings published by Stanford University. In particular, Prof. LIEW Kim Meow, Yeung Kin Man Chair Professor of Sustainable Engineering and Chair Professor of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, is ranked 9th globally in his area of expertise.

The list of the “World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025” compiled by Stanford University covers 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. The rankings are based on the number of citations of the scholars’ academic publications, considering both their career-long impact and the impact of their work in a single year.

This achievement again reflects our scholars’ academic and research excellence. Congratulations to the above faculty members!
