Professor Andrew Leung is currently a professor at Saint Francis University. He taught in the University of Hong Kong, the University of Manchester and CityUHK and is an Emeritus Professor of CityUHK ACE, Eminent Professor of City University of Macau and Research Professor of Caritas Institution of Higher Education. He is honorary/guest professor of 15 universities internationally and is the President of the Asian Institute of Intelligent Buildings, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Green Building (HK) Council. He is a Council Member of Hong Kong Institution of Certified Auditors, an Education Adviser of Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association, and the Winner of the Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICT Awards) 2018: ICT Startup (Social Impact) Bronze Award.

Professor Leung will discuss advanced tower crane monitoring technologies and their implementation in high-rise construction projects. The seminar will explore how real-time structural health monitoring integrated with gyroscopic stabilisation technology enables continuous assessment of load conditions and structural integrity in tower cranes operating in Hong Kong's dense urban environment.
