The Marine Biodiversity and Ecosystem Safety Workshop was successfully held at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School on 3 July 2019.  Experts and representatives from the University of Maryland, Louisiana State University, City University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a number of well-known universities at home and abroad were invited to attend.  The workshop revolved around three themes: (1) marine biodiversity under global change; (2) marine ecosystem function; (3) marine monitoring technology and ecological safety management.  The workshop aimed to promote the in-depth exchanges between experts at home and abroad, scholars from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as to share the latest research results in related fields.
