All new students are required to report to the University and complete the enrolment process in person. Information about your enrolment schedule will be released to you in the Letter of Enrolment.
Bachelor’s degree, exchange and visiting students at the undergraduate level should visit the Academic Regulations and Records Office (ARRO), or the designated venue for enrolment as indicated in your enrolment letter. Postgraduate students should contact the Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies (SGS) for enrolment arrangements.
The deadline for new student enrolment is 12:00 noon on the Saturday of Teaching Week 2 of the semester. If you are an undergraduate student and foresee that you are unable to complete the enrolment before the deadline, please email your application for postponed enrolment to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the deadline with justifications. Postgraduate students can use the Online Enquiry Form to send out your late enrolment request.

Students will receive their Student Identity Card once the enrolment process is complete. The Student Identity Card is your personal identification document at CityU. You will be granted access to most of the university facilities on campus including the Library, Sports Centre, Computing Services Centre and your residential hall with the Student Identity Card. Please observe and comply with the Regulations on Student Identity Cards.
