Miss Maggie Chau
Vice-President (Administration)
Miss Maggie Chau is the Vice‑President (Administration). She provides leadership for the University’s administrative and operational services and has line management responsibility for the Finance Office, Campus Development Office, Facilities Management Office, Computing Services Centre and Enterprise Solutions Office.
Miss Chau’s portfolio groups related functions for coherent oversight: corporate finance (budgeting and budget management, accounting and financial reporting, compliance and financial policy, grant and fund management, treasury and investment, procurement and campus services); physical infrastructure (campus planning, capital project delivery, facilities operations and maintenance, safety and estate management); and IT strategy and infrastructure (IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, enterprise systems and applications). She is also responsible for contract administration, institutional risk management and business continuity planning.
Working across these grouped areas, Miss Chau supports the University’s development through strategic planning, policy development and performance oversight, promoting efficient stewardship of resources and reliable operational support for learning, teaching and research. She works collaboratively with academic and administrative colleagues to align infrastructure and financial planning with institutional priorities. Her steady, service‑oriented approach helps strengthen institutional resilience and sustain the University’s growth.
