Project: Integrated eDNA Monitoring Framework

We are recruiting one Research Fellow or Postdoctoral Fellow to support an exciting research programme developing an integrated environmental DNA (eDNA) monitoring framework for marine biodiversity and conservation.

Key duties

• Assist in project management for marine biodiversity, marine conservation, and fisheries-related projects
• Conduct in-depth data analysis
• Prepare research proposals and scientific manuscripts

Requirements

Applicants should hold a PhD in Fisheries Science, Marine Ecology, Marine Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.

• Research Fellow: at least 4 years of relevant post-PhD research experience
• Postdoctoral Fellow: less than 3 years of work experience after the award of a PhD

Additional requirements:

• Strong publication record in top international journals
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in fisheries data analysis and marine biodiversity monitoring is preferred
