Three SEE Faculty Members Honored with 2025 SEE Research Excellence Awards

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong is delighted to announce the recipients of the SEE Excellent Innovation Award 2025 and the SEE Excellent Young Researcher Award 2025, which recognize exceptional contributions in research, innovation, and academic leadership.

Prof. Wei WU Received SEE Excellent Innovation Award 2025
Prof. Wei Wu has been awarded the SEE Excellent Innovation Award 2025 for his pioneering work in translational research and innovation. His contributions have demonstrated exceptionally high potential for positive impact on society and industry and have significantly strengthened the innovative capabilities and global visibility of SEE and CityUHK.

Prof. Jian WANG and Prof. Xue WANG Honored with SEE Excellent Young Researcher Award 2025
Prof. Jian Wang and Prof. Xue Wang have been awarded the SEE Excellent Young Researcher Award 2025. This award acknowledges their remarkable research accomplishments, dedication to cultivating a vibrant and high-quality research environment, and their impactful contributions to the School’s overall research excellence on a global scale.

These accolades were presented during the SEE Retreat on 28 May 2025, where the SEE community came together to celebrate the dedication, impact, and accomplishments of its outstanding faculty members.
