Funded by the Hongkong Bank Foundation, this highly competitive scholarship recognizes outstanding UGC-funded full-time local undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, well-roundedness through community involvement, and strong communication skills. The scholarship awards HK$50,000 to each recipient.

Pui Ga, currently pursuing her Bachelor of Engineering programme in SEE, successfully secured the scholarship following a rigorous selection process. Her strong academic grounding and active engagement as a freshman distinguished her as an exemplary representative of the green talent being nurtured at SEE.

Reflecting on this honor early in her academic journey, Pui Ga shared:

"I am very honored to become one of the HSBC scholars this year, especially as a first-year student in SEE. This recognition means a lot to me, and I am truly grateful to SEE for nominating me, as well as to all the professors and staff for their support."

Looking ahead, Pui Ga is eager to leverage this opportunity to deepen her impact in the field:

"My passion lies in sustainable technologies and environmental engineering, and I hope to apply what I learn to develop practical solutions for a better future. This scholarship gives me great motivation and confidence to keep learning, exploring, and growing. Looking forward to my wonderful journey ahead in SEE!"

The School extends its heartiest congratulations to Miss Li Pui Ga on this remarkable milestone so early in her undergraduate journey. SEE also expresses its gratitude to Prof. Xi Chen for coordinating the nomination and providing invaluable guidance throughout the scholarship application process.
