SEE Students Win Impact Creator Award 2025/26 with Solar Photovoltaic Power System Project
A talented student team from the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) has been selected as one of the winning entries for the Impact Creator Award 2025/26.
The winning project, titled "Design and Suggestion of a Solar Photovoltaic Power System in City University of Hong Kong", was developed by students Chan Cheuk Wa Ronni, Iu Chak Lok, Chau Ian Hin Ting, Ho Chun Kit, and So Tsun Kwan. Under the guidance of their supervisor, Prof. Jian Wang, the team designed an innovative solar energy solution tailored specifically for the university campus.

The Impact Creator Award is a key initiative under the Learning: Experience, Achieve, and Develop (LEAD) Scheme. It aims to identify and commend exceptional undergraduate course projects that demonstrate outstanding creativity and problem-solving abilities to bring meaningful changes to the University.
Reflecting SEE’s core mission, the award also gives priority to projects that effectively address key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG7) and Climate Action (SDG13).
This remarkable accolade underscores SEE's dedication to fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and meaningful experiential learning.
