SEE Student Chapter Coordinates Company Visit to Jardine Engineering Corporation

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) Student Chapter 2025/26 successfully organized a corporate exposure visit to the Jardine Engineering Corporation (JEC) headquarters on 9 April 2026. The educational excursion provided 20 SEE students with firsthand insight into the operations of a leading engineering enterprise.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, JEC is a prominent engineering firm renowned for providing extensive electrical, mechanical, and building technology services across Asia. The company is widely recognized for its management of large-scale engineering contracts and major infrastructure projects, including airports, mass transit railways, and environmental facilities.

The visit offered a comprehensive itinerary designed to help students bridge the gap between their environmental engineering studies and real-world corporate applications. The session included an office tour and company introduction for students to get to know JEC’s business scope, key projects, and workplace environment. Another key focus was the Graduate/MT sharing, where students could learn about job duties, rotation structure, training support, and career progression. The visit concluded with a Q&A session, allowing students to ask questions directly and gain practical insights into the engineering profession.
The School of Energy and Environment commends the SEE Student Chapter for their excellent coordination of this event, and extends its appreciation to Jardine Engineering Corporation for hosting our students and fostering the next generation of engineering professionals.
