To welcome the new coming undergraduate students joining the PHY family, the Student Orientation was held on 29 August 2019 at Room B6605, Yeung Kin Man Academic Building.
Students were briefed on important program information, including our Applied Physics major, curriculum requirement, the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program, student activities and student support network etc., and followed by a campus visit and lab tour.
In addition to academic preparation, the Student Orientation also acted as a starting point for friendship, which students had a chance to get to know their fellow classmates, teachers, student mentors and senior students from Physics and Materials Science Student Society (APS).
