Dr Andrew Bremang joined City University of Hong Kong in January 2020 as a Senior Research Associate. In this role he provides research support in veterinary epidemiology at the Centre for Applied One Health Research and Policy Advice.

He obtained his DVM from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Veterinary Medicine, Ghana in July 2017. Following his qualification he proceeded to serve in a one-year mandatory veterinary houseman-ship position in Ghana's veterinary services directorate. In September 2019 he completed a masters in veterinary epidemiology jointly run by the Royal Veterinary College and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine funded by the Commonwealth Scholsarship Commission in the UK.

His ultimate goal is to contribute to animal and public health policies through quality epidemiological research.
