Course Aims

This course examines the contents of Guoxue, including Confucian classics, history, philosophy, and literature from different perspectives. All lectures and tutorials will cover selected topics in these areas. By studying these topics, the students will acquire an in-depth understanding of Chinese traditions and culture. These four central themes of the course help foster a better understanding of Chinese civilization among students and strengthen their sense of identity with Chinese culture.
