CityU Musical

CityU Musical is an annual Broadway musical
production that gives students a chance to
shine on the stage and build their confidence
by acting in a professional-grade production.
Being the highlight of the CityU Arts Festival,
elected CityU students enlivens traditional
theatre figures on stage after finishing intensive
training in singing, dancing and acting,
communicating and collaborating, problem
solving and emotional management.

CityU Chinese Orchestra

The CityU Chinese Orchestra aims to promote
traditional Chinese culture and provide a
platform for traditional music lovers to practice,
communicate and develop bonds. Established
in July 2002 and supported by the University,
the CityU Chinese Orchestra invites members
to attend concerts and hosts their own
performance each year.

CityU Chinese Debating
Team

The CityU Chinese Debating Team has a history
that goes back to 1989, when the original club
was founded as a society under the Student
Union. Today it has grown into an important
and successful student club with numerous
members. Teams compete in various annual
tournaments and their overwhelming eloquence
has won them various honors.
