My name is ZHAO Yang, a resident of YYYHH. I am from Department of Electrical Engineering.
Thanks for the hall tutors. I have enjoyed a fantastic first-year residential life in Hall 8. They hold a variety of activities, each of which has its characteristics that can attract me. For example, I joined a lot of hiking events, which I enjoyed the most. I become a hiking lover since my first hike event, which was at the Dragon's Back. The crystal blue sky and ocean are carved in my mind. Another fantastic hike occurred at the sunset peck, since which becomes my favorite hiking destinations. The photos of the sunset are one of the best in all my picture collections. After being one of the hikers, I was thinking of organizing one hike. Thanks to Nate, who is in charge of one hiking event. I am honored to be invited as the guide and organizer this time. The most beautiful hiking memory came with this chance which is at Tai Mo Shan. I tried my best to check the weather around April, just for the sea of clouds. The result is in the listed picture. I am shocked and amazed by the possibilities of hiking experience that Hong Kong can offer.
On the other hand, the board game is also a fantastic event. I can make lots of new friends and join lovely relaxing games after whole week research. (Because my favorite one is UNO, I hope the +4 card doesn't ruin it.) Culture activity is also delightful. We had a visit Tai Kwun, which is an excellent place for photography practicing and modern art appreciation. I had a pleasant walk, talk, and share experience at that time.
I think the key to enjoying the hall life is to join the activity. Almost all the activities are well organized by experienced hall tutor or talents. Anyone who wants to make friends, try something new, or just relaxing should seize the chance to join the hall event.
