A Frightfully Fun Time: Nam Shan Yuen Halloween Garden Party

Nam Shan Yuen was buzzing with spooky fun at our recently concluded Halloween Garden Party! Residents including staff and families came together for an evening of games and laughter across four themed booths: the Check-in & Face Painting Station created some eerily awesome looks, the Gomoku Challenge tested wits and strategy, the Ball Toss was a hit with its bouncing excitement, and the classic Ring Toss drew a cheerful crowd of participants.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for the NSY community to connect, share laughs, and create spirited Halloween memories together. It was a fantastic celebration that truly strengthened our community bonds!

A Landmark Debut: Nam Shan Yuen Table Tennis Team Shines in Inter-Hall Tournament

The inaugural Nam Shan Yuen table tennis team made its mark in a competitive inter-hall tournament. Despite being first-time participants, our players demonstrated impressive skill and tenacity, engaging in a series of closely contested matches. Although the team narrowly missed advancing to the final, their strong performance earned them a notable ranking within the top 8, marking a very successful debut on the competition stage.
This milestone achievement extends far beyond the court. The tournament fostered a stronger sense of unity and camaraderie among our players, while their spirited performance has ignited a newfound enthusiasm for table tennis across the Nam Shan Yuen community. This successful first campaign has not only built a solid foundation for the team's future but has also inspired more students to engage with the sport.
