The PhD student is supervised by Prof. Peter Brimblecombe.
Congratulations to Miss CHAN Cheuk Ying Joyce (Cohort 2013) who has won the award of HKIE Best Paper on Materials 2017 (Undergrad category) on her Final Year Project report titled “Factors Affecting Anion Intercalation Into Graphite”. The FYP was supervised by Dr. Denis Yu.
Miss Joey LUI Lai Ying, Miss Nicole TUNG Hiu Ching, Mr Ivan Wang Likang and Miss Ivy WONG Siu Mui, final-year-undergraduate students majoring in Energy Science and Engineering, won the Merit Prize under the discipline of “Energy and Chemical Engineering” in the “Challenge Cup” National Competition – Hong Kong Regional Final, Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2017 (“the Competition”). SEE undergraduate students have been awarded in this competition for three years consecutively.
Tommy Yap Chun-yin, James Khong Yew-yuen and Calvin Gan Jing-fang from the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at the City University of Hong Kong led a team with four other students from local and overseas universities to participate in the World Sustainable Built Environment International Youth Competition, jointly organized by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) in June 2017.
Congratulations to Mr. GUO Jiaxin Eric, PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Alicia AN in the School of Energy and Environment (SEE), for receiving the Student Poster Award with a cash prize in the 11th International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes (ICOM 2017) held in Hilton San Francisco Union Square, San Francisco, CA USA, in the period, 29 July – 4 August 2017.
