The following SEE PhD students and research assistants formed into a team and won the 1st runner up in the PG session in Young Professionals Exhibition & Competition 2021 (https://booth.ietypec.org/).
Following its earlier announcement of the launch of the flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme “HK Tech 300” with an allocation of HK$500M, CityU held the HK Tech 300 Seed Fund Presentation Ceremony on 29 July 2021, presenting seed funds with the total sum of HK$6.5M. The scheme, which was launched in March, covers fields including information and communications technology, artificial intelligence, biotech and health, education and financial technologies. It is expected to last at least three years and benefit a total of 300 start-up teams.
The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) is pleased to announce that the following students have received the “VTech Innovation & Sustainability Award”. The Award is established through a generous donation from the VTech Group of Companies (VTech) and is intended for students who have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation and impact in their Final Year Project (FYP) related to sustainability.
Dr. Patrick Lee, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies), was invited by Hok Yau Club to be a guest speaker of the RTHK radio programme "奮發時刻 DSE" on 22 May 2021. Through the programme, Dr. Lee introduced to the audience the JUPAS interview tips of SEE's Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Science and Engineering, and Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Science and Engineering.
