SEE Alum Dr. Lu Yunguo has won the second prize of Outstanding Achievements awarded by the Economics Society of Zhejiang Province, for his paper titled “Environmental information disclosure and firm production: evidence from the estimated efficiency of publicly listed firms in China” (co-authored with Prof. Lin Zhang, Associate Professor of SEE). Dr. Lu was a former PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Lin Zhang and graduated from SEE in 2022.

According to metrics compiled by Stanford University and the updated data published on 4 October 2023, twenty-six faculty members of the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) are listed among the top 2% of the world’s most highly cited scientists (i.e., top 2% in the world in their own areas of specialty), that equates to nearly 60% of the School’s entire faculty body. The recent SEE Colloquium on Hong Kong's Journey to Become an International Innovation and Technology Hub, held on October 6 2023, featured Prof. SIT Wing-hang Alfred, GBS, JP, as the esteemed speaker.
