The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) of HKSAR Government and the Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore held a bilateral energy workshop on 11 May to strengthen energy cooperation. Dr. Yun Hau Ng, Associate Professor from SEE, presented his research on clean hydrogen generation using artificial photosynthesis approach at this Workshop. The Director of EMSD, Mr. Eric Pang, said EMSD is looking forward to introducing roadmap for carbon neutrality.

Winners of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2021, including Dr. Edwin Tso who received the Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days 2021, were invited to join the Chief Executive’s Reception to congratulate the success of Hong Kong teams at the Grand Hall of Hong Kong Science Park on 17 May 2021. “An Energy-Free, Low-Cost and High Cooling Performance Passive Radiative Cooling Technology for Building Applications” led by Dr. Edwin Tso, Assistant Professor, received the Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days (IGED) 2021. IGED, held from 10 to 14 March 2021, is a special edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva due to the pandemic.
