Prof. Edwin Tso, Associate Dean (Internationalisation and Outreach) of the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), participated in the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Control, Automation & Instrumentation (CA) Division 2024/25 International Summit, held on 13 May 2025 at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Themed “CA Engineers Linking AI, Low Altitude Economy and New Quality Productive Forces”, the summit brought together leading engineers, researchers, and industry experts to explore the intersection of innovation, technology, and sustainable development.

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is pleased to share that our three distinguished faculty members have successfully secured the Preparatory Grant for the Simultaneous Implementation of Large Team-Based Learning (TBL) Classes. Following the recommendation of the Evaluation Panel and approval by the Provost and Deputy President, these grants will support innovative teaching strategies aimed at enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes.

The China Data Center Cooling Summit Forum was successfully held in Shanghai from 1 to 3 April, 2025. Prof. Wu Wei of the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) contributed significantly to this important event, which was hosted by the Chinese Association of Refrigeration, Huawei Digital Energy Technology, and Tencent Cloud. The forum brought together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss advancements in data center cooling technologies.

Now in its seventh year, this longstanding collaboration continues to deliver valuable hands-on experience in energy engineering.
