On 22 August 2017, City University of Hong Kong (CityU) signed a new collaborative agreement with the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IAP/CAS) in Chengjiang, Yunnan. The signing ceremony was attended by President Way Kuo, President of CityU, Professor Jiang Zhu, Director of IAP, Professor Chong-Yin Li, Academician, CAS, Professor Johnny Chan of CityU, and Professors Wen Chen and Zi-Niu Xiao of IAP/CAS.

Congratulations to Mr. GUO Jiaxin Eric, PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Alicia AN in the School of Energy and Environment (SEE), for receiving the Student Poster Award with a cash prize in the 11th International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes (ICOM 2017) held in Hilton San Francisco Union Square, San Francisco, CA USA, in the period, 29 July – 4 August 2017.
