Dr. Wei Wu received the Distinguished Associate Award of NIST

Dr. Wei Wu’s research efforts were recognized by the Distinguished Associate Award of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), United States. Dr. Wu used to be a guest researcher at NIST, working with Dr. Piotr Domanski, the leader of the HVAC&R Equipment Performance Group of the Energy and Environment Division of NIST and the President of the IIR (International Institute of Refrigeration) Science and Technology Council. Dr. Wu achieved great accomplishments on net-zero energy buildings and CO2 ground-source heat pump technologies during his work at NIST and the continuing collaboration at CityU. His research will make significant contributions to building energy efficiency and low-carbon society.
